On July 21, 2018, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Nirma University, organised a one-day field visit to Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Gandhinagar, for the students of Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
CED is a premier organisation of Government of Gujarat engaged in Entrepreneurship Development Training since 1979 and Skill Development since 2009. The concept behind CED is to develop entrepreneurs in the urban as well as rural areas of the state. The enterprise (Trading/Service/Manufacturing) they establish can, in turn, aid the economic growth and create employment.
The purpose of the visit was to learn the objectives of CED and its entrepreneurship process. Mr Sanjay Jaiswal, Training coordinator, CED had explained the entrepreneurial development process established by CED ? Breaking the physiological barriers, Awareness about environment resources and opportunities, Motivation build-up for achievements, Management training, responsibilities towards society and New venture creation.
Students interacted with entrepreneurs supported by CED and discussed on various government schemes available to promote entrepreneurship and learned how to start a startup with the help of government funding. Students enjoyed the visit and motivated towards innovations and entrepreneurship.
